WOW!! LW, those are some of the best UFO pics I have EVER seen! Your camera must be a very good one yes?
I was only thinking the other night, am I a freak? lol why is it that some people can see UFO's (keeping in mind what UFO actually stands for), and others can go through life not seeing anything.
I would like to attempt to answer this in a way that makes sense to me..
Why was it that Ted Bundy managed to abduct women in busy areas in broad daylight, without anyone seeing?
The visual perception process is largely an automatic process, there is a huge volume of visual, audio and sensory data flowing into the brian every micro-second, most of which is too much for the brain to process. The brain largely makes guesses and assumptions in order to process efficiently. That's why visual optical illusions work, because the brain sees what it expects to see.
It's only when things are so startling different to what the brain expects, that it literally jolts our consciousness, and all of our processing is then lumped onto the anomaly in order to process and to figure out what we are seeing.
As a classic social example; if you're wearing a fluorescent shirt or carrying a clipboard you can go nearly anywhere in any building and nobody will think twice or even really notice you, even security. This is because they expect to see this scenario in this setting. You may have a bomb or rifle in your backpack, and nobody would even suspect it.
I think some people see UFO's and others don't, because the one's that don't aren't looking for them or expecting to see them. UFO's being most often "just another light in the sky" that blends with the scenary, doesn't really jolt our visual processing. People simply don't direct their attention to them unless UFO's and the expectation of seeing them forms part of their active consciousness.
As Angela mentioned above, Ley lines also play a role in the frequency of UFO / "other world" experiences, but in general I think the above explanation fits too.
"Seek and you shall find" Seems like an apt quote here

That's my take on it.. I hope it makes sense.
